Our Story

In 1998, Koen and Inge De Herdt moved with their 3 young children to Barrhead Alberta. Their start was made when they took over Southside Greenhouses on July 1 1998

After 15 years, We were able to move our greenhouse to a new location and rebrand our new store with a new name “De Herdt Gardens”.

“You are always welcome at De Herdt Gardens”, a place to enjoy greenery, a relaxing atmosphere, great coffee and delicious sweets.
